I’m Irina. I like pumpkins, Jesus, my husband, my family, hiking, physical therapy, adventures, traveling, my friends, and good food. Not in that order of course.
My family immigrated from USSR to the USA in 1990. Here’s an early photo. I adapted quickly to the American way of life…
Despite my siblings’ poor choice in style and my sister thinking she looked like a boy in her young age,
we survived food stamps and subsidized school lunches, and all of us kids have grown to be quite close, even though we are all very far apart geographically. They think pumpkins are ok.
I ended up in the big city to study. In the midst of the busyness of clinicals, moving, studying, and lots of leisure activities, I fell in love. He thinks pumpkins are ok.
After spending several years being married and doing married things in the States, we decided to move to New Zealand. Why? Lots of reasons. One, we love the outdoors!
Two, who wouldn’t love the beach!
Three, we love to eat lamb.
I enjoy all sorts of outdoor adventures, creativity, and of course, anything pumpkin. I have another website called Reviving Traditions (revivingtraditions.com). That’s my pride and joy. Please check it out.
Cheers,
Irina
