Life's a Pumpkin

Living one great, big adventure in New Zealand!

Life and a Whatipu Beach Hike

It’s been a while since I’ve sent out an update to everyone.

Here’s a quick snippet-view into our lives in NZ:

Brock: has been busy with juggling multiple clients, getting involved in a guys’ group at church, and volunteering at a coffee stand at C3…the church we’ve been going to. He loves coffee and has had an interest in learning to make it for some time. As you may know from previous posts, NZ has an incredible cafe/coffee culture. There is a cafe (or 3) on every block! The coffee here is incredibly tasty. We think it’s because of the tasty dairy.

Irina: has been busy plugging away at revivingtradition.com. This has been her project for the past several months but she only launched the website 3 weeks ago. A huge praise-report is that her physiotherapy license to practice in NZ was finally approved last Friday. That’s after 5 months of waiting. Hurray!

We’ll be going to Australia at the end of March for a quick vacation and site-seeing (well, Brock will be working, Irina will be site-seeing 🙂

We both have been getting more involved in our church (C3) and small group. We’ve gotten to know a handful of super awesome people and have enjoyed learning more about day to day life in NZ.

We’ve also been enjoying getting out on the weekends. It’s a must after working on our computers all week. Here’s a place we went to last weekend. It’s called Whatipu Beach. The hike was splendid along a ridge with a view of the beautiful Tazman Sea.
